What about using Lyssa's Balance as your second enchant remove when you are fluxing your dom mesm?
Having 2 enchant removes looks pretty key in a 3 monk meta and when most ele's won't cover their attunement with Aura of Restoration.
How about Gaze of Contempt instead of Lyssa's Balance? Too expensive or slow? I'm assuming fluxed Dom mes has max fast cast so should cast in barely over a second (excluding mod effects like Don't Think Twice and Swiftness). The 50% HP condition seems easy enough to meet (I don't play mes much but I assume you'd use shatter to kill and gaze for general usage).
Or are most fluxed Dom Mes using other Profession skills (e.g. Death Pact Signet, Glyph of Renewal/Second Wind) which precludes necro skills?
How about: Glyph of Essence, wait for spike, 3-2-1, Shame/Diversion/Backfire, Weap Swap to +15 energy, Rupt/Shatter/Shame, Second Wind to regain all spent energy. Repeat rinse.
@Nick Lyssa's better for spiking bc of speed, lower energy and no 50% health thing IMO
@JornF gaze = bad version of rend ^.^
You can't use rend if you want to stay a fluxed Dom mes. Ra was talking about 2 enchant removals for a fluxed Dom mes. I assume Shatter would be the main for spiking/killing. Gaze would be for the 2nd enchant removal (anti-ele, anti flagger).
So is it correct to say most GvG matches/scenarios are not enchant heavy enough to make it worth the disadvantages? Might as well go AoD for such cases?
How about swap out glyph of elemental power and obsidian flame for Glyph of Sacrifice and Earthquake (ala Squishy FTW)? Get all their monks and maybe a mesmer to sit out most of the spike on your target ;). Sac, Earthquake, Shadow Walk, Aftershock, Shockwave. Don't need all the glyphs successful for a spike.
If Earthquake is too expensive or fragile bring gale on one or two of the eles. Would you really need 5 eles or 4 would be enough- then you can have a mesmer or a 3rd monk.
